Free birthday cake and ice cream were served to more than 500 visitors who came to celebrate the 100th birth date of DeGrazia and see the yearlong centennial retrospective, "DeGrazia: 100 Years, 100 Works".

Pima County Supervisor Ann Day, Jim Marten of Governor Jan Brewer's Southern Arizona office, and a proclamation by Tucson Mayor Robert Walkup welcomed nearly 1,200 DeGrazia fans who were treated to live music by Mariachi Tesoro de Tucson, the Ellington Big Band, and Domingo DeGrazia's Spanish-Guitar band. Visitors also enjoyed DeGrazia Movie Treasures, regional food by local vendors, and the legendary landscape of art and architecture.
