''Our
Lady of Guadalupe''
Several
classes at DeGrazia Elementary School participated in creating art for a special exhibit
titled ''Our Lady of Guadalupe''. Students in participating classes learned
the story of Guadalupe and why it is a regionally celebrated holiday. Over 100
individual works were produced by the students and now hang in the ''Enchanted Gallery''
at the Gallery in the Sun. The images are of Guadalupe and many are versions
of a triptych - ''arched'' doors of art, with colorful images on the inside
as well as on the outside. The creativity of these students is wonderful.
Check it out - the exhibit will be up through January 27, 2005.
